Some of Australia’s high finance deal makers have been recruited to run a brand new full-service dealer and funding financial institution backed by ASX-listed fund supervisor Magellan Financial Group and British financial institution Barclays.
A star-studded line-up, together with three ex-UBS Australia executives, will head up Barrenjoey Capital Partners. It will provide company recommendation, fairness and debt capital underwriting and analysis and brokerage.
Barrenjoey is led by former Challenger managing director Brian Bernari, who turns into chief govt, and former UBS govt chairman Guy Fowler who takes the function of chairman. Ex-UBS funding bankers Matt Hanning and Chris Williams are founding companions in addition to John Cincotta, a former Deutsche Bank govt.
