A knife-wielding attacker beheaded a lady and killed two others in a suspected terrorist assault at a church within the French metropolis of Nice on Thursday, police was quoted as saying by Reuters.
Nice’s mayor, Christian Estrosi, who described the assault as terrorism, stated on Twitter it had occurred in or close to the town’s Notre Dame church and that police had detained the attacker.
