Washington: The Republican National Convention (RNC) on Monday formally named President Donald Trump once again as its candidate for the November 3 election for the post of US President.
Facing a major challenge from former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden, Trump will deliver his speech on Thursday, the last day of the convention, accepting the nomination from the White House’s ‘South Lawns’. This Grand Old Party (GOP) conference, to be held once in four years, is running in a digital way due to the Coronavirus. Some of the official work of this conference took place in Carolina’s shalert.
Trump was re-nominated after counting the votes of elected Republican Party representatives from all 50 provinces.
